NEWS FROM THE LANDSCAPE COMMITTEE!
The landscaping committee met on Tues. with a special guest courtesy of our own Ramona Garden Club. Ramona Valencia is a Master Gardener and was very helpful in giving us ideas and suggestions. The even better news is that she has volunteered to come to our church on Saturday morning from 9 am to noon to stage the plants (set them out in locations where we can begin planting). She will also give a planting demonstration, so please try to stop by for a short time. That way when we all have a bit of free time we can plant at our leisure.
I also found out that Susie Sheely is willing to donate rocks which will help us with this project and the Labyrinth. They can be picked up from her at any time. Her phone number is 760-789-0656, and she lives on Spangler Peak in the Estates. If anyone else has plants or other supplies to donate please let us know. As the saying goes, many hands make light work!
Blessings and Thanks,
Women of St. Mary's
I have put information about the women's Triennial Convention in the Narthex so everyone can peruse it. If you have any questions I would be glad to try and answer them as would Belinda.
Also, our big fund raiser of the year is coming up on Oct. 27th, namely the Fall Bazaar! Please do your best to donate items as I have already begun to sort and price things. Next Sunday the 26th, I will be needing help to get the clothes racks and hangers out of the WOSM's shed........
